We were never interested in playing it safe.

7R Studio began with a curiosity that started long before the brand had a name.

As a child, its founder would study the construction of dresses, sketch designs for hours and transform clothes, polythene, snack wrappers and anything else she could find into miniature garments.

At seven, she began reimagining her school uniform, turning a conventional design into something distinctly her own. It was an early expression of a creative mind that questioned what was considered acceptable. Even when that individuality was perceived as deviance, she continued to create.

At 14, her father enrolled her in fashion school. But the more she learned, the more frustrated she became with the predictable, safe designs she was taught.

Growing up in an environment where creative risks could easily attract ridicule, she understood the pressure to conform. But she also understood that creativity loses its purpose when it is constantly restricted by what is expected.

That conviction became the foundation of Seven Roses.

Years later, Seven Roses evolved into 7R Studio: a contemporary fashion and design company built around experimentation, individuality and a willingness to challenge convention.

More than clothing.

Today, 7R Studio operates across ready-to-wear, made-to-order fashion, physical fabrics and digital fashion, exploring how clothing can exist, evolve and be experienced across physical and digital spaces.

The brand brings together design, technology, culture and creative direction to develop ideas that move beyond the conventional boundaries of fashion.

Our approach is not to be different for the sake of being different.

It is to question, experiment and create with intention.

We are interested in the space between what fashion has been and what it could become.
